around the corner é uma expressão muito usada em inglês, tanto no sentido literal (“ali na esquina”), mas também no sentido figurado (“logo aí” ou “logo ali”).

Quando usamos something is around the corner, dizemos que “algo está logo ali na esquina”. Ou seja, que algo já está chegando, está se aproximando, está muito perto.
